In brief

Adding a day-of-the-week disc to the quickset date pushed the 5xx family into new ground. Seventeen jewels, and no chronometer certificate.

Short history

The 750 opened the 75x series in 1967. It took the quickset date mechanism that the 563, 564 and 565 had introduced the year before and gave it a day of the week — the obvious next move for Omega's automatic family in the second half of the 1960s.
