21,600 vph, where every other hand-wound 6xx runs at 19,800. The 625 is the frequency exception in the family, the higher beat bought for a little more accuracy on paper in a movement that already belonged to the early 1970s.

Short history

It appeared in 1973, with the manual 6xx family close to the end of its commercial life and quartz already gaining ground in Switzerland. The shared-platform thinking behind the series is still there, the same common ground with the automatic 5xx calibres, but this one runs faster than any of its hand-wound siblings.
