Calibre 355 — the last of the bumper series

In brief

1953 was the end of the line for the bumper centre-seconds branch, and the 355 is where Omega left it. Seventeen jewels and 19,800 vph, as across the whole series — then the company moved to a full rotor.

Short history

Production of the 350 series closed in 1953, and with it most of Omega's bumper automatic era. Over the rest of that decade the company replaced these calibres with full-rotor designs.
