The 1011 is the 1010 with a chronometer certificate. Same 23 jewels, same date, same step up to 28,800 vibrations per hour that marks out the whole 1970s series.

Short history

The 1011 shares its base with the 1010; what it adds is factory adjustment and chronometer certification. That extra work bought a tighter accuracy standard inside a family Omega had designed to meet quartz head-on without giving up traditional mechanics.
